Repentance
Life is a journey. A journey from here to there. Here we know. There some know. Most do not. This journey is rough and full of struggles whichever way you find yourself. Irrespective of your social status, race or gender, life will lay its icy hands on you.
It even becomes harder when you live a meaningful life and decide to follow Christ.
Each day believers face the snare of the devil to take us away from Christ and the promise of salvation that awaits us. The devil sets his traps through the desires of this world which are hard to resist. The result of falling for this desire is destruction.
Paul put it this way "Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction"( 1 Tim 6:9).
No matter how deep one falls away from God, there is always a way out. God has given us a door we can always depend on in times of need. That door is Christ, the way of life, the light of the world and the savior of mankind.
He is a loving God that does not hold your sins against you if you are willing turn away from your sins. He is always willing to forgive you and start a new life with you at any point. He has saved millions and today he has opened his arms to welcome you to his family if you repent from your sins and turn to Him.
“O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against you!" (Psalm 41:4) Amen.
